Working together
If you are someone who is feeling lost, dissatisfied with your life, struggling with relationships, navigating mental health issues, trying to numb out rather than deal with the problems in front of you or in the midst of grief, I am grateful that our paths have crossed and I’d like to support you through this.
You may be looking for someone to listen to you and empathize with your situation, someone to help you make sense of things, someone to explore active ways of finding relief and momentum in your life, someone to constructively challenge you or a mixture of all of it.
You may be a young adult, an older adult or someone in your teens - whatever your life stage, you are someone who has decided that you want to explore new ways of dealing with yourself and the world around you and you are open to working with someone to find more contentment and ease for yourself and the loved ones in your life.
I can help because I have done the work myself and continue to do so. Through my own exploration of what makes me feel good and feel bad, what inspires me and what limits me and discovering what my personal blind spots are, I am better equipped to help you discover yours.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years in the arts and my experiences were pivotal in making me the therapist I am today. In the theatre, you must find your voice, be in your body, improvise and collaborate with people, find confidence and maintain curiosity.
I take all of this into my practice and I look forward to supporting you in discovering this for yourself. To live fully in your body and have control over how your thoughts and emotions affect you is what we will work on together.
